Celebrated since 1968, Hispanic Heritage Month is an annual celebration from September
15 - October 15 recognizing the achievements, cultures, and histories of the American
Latine community (ed.gov). The Department of Spanish at UNT is proud to celebrate this month with events centered
around Hispanic heritage for all students to experience and enjoy.
