Department of Spanish
8:00am - 3:30pm

UNT Denton Campus, Language Building

This full day of four workshops will provide in-service training for teachers of Spanish at all levels, especially those teaching grades 7-12. Workshop presenters are experienced Spanish teachers from the Dallas-Ft. Worth area who will share pertinent knowledge as well as hands-on activities directly applicable to the Spanish classroom. Sessions will be conducted in Spanish.

The Department of Spanish is accredited by the Texas Education Agency to award professional credits for teaching certification (CPE # 501317). Participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance indicating the date, place, and number of contact hours (7 for full attendance). The Certificate of Attendance should be sufficient for requesting credit for professional development, such as Continuing Education Units, but all participants should check with their administrator or school district in order to know what kind of credit could be received.
